About Oedasoa Cochoqua
Oedasoa Cochoqua represents the descendants of the historic Cochoqua Khoikhoi people of South Africa.
Our organization exists to protect, document, and promote the history, traditions, and cultural identity of the Khoikhoi people. The Cochoqua were one of the prominent Khoikhoi groups in the Western Cape region during the early encounters with European settlers.

Our heritage
The Cochoqua Khoikhoi were historically known as one of the most powerful pastoral communities in Southern Africa. They were skilled cattle herders, traders, and leaders within the Khoikhoi society.
